i am 27 yr old, female, good job, husband. however, hiv has been on my mind recently. in '98/'99 i was in a relationship and had unprotected sex, it was w/ 2 diff guys over a period of 2 yrs. i dated both for a yr. anyways, both have had many partners, i have not.

my question is... i am so worried that maybe i got something even though it was several yrs ago. maybe i should get tested.

as of recent i have had pain in my arm and chest, near my arm pit. i've gotten a couple of yeast infections over the yrs. i have had blood drawn for several things when i have been sick over the years but i guess that doesn't test for hiv or does it?

i am concerned for myself and my husband. any insight?

personally i would go get tested just to put your mind at ease, as you said you could be putting you and your husband at risk.
Go get tested !!

You should get tested to put your mind at ease. Yeast infections can be a symptom of everything and a symptom of nothing. I had a few yeast infections before I was tested and I tested negative.

Go ahead and do it so you can get beyond this.
