Can anyone please let me know does the rash manifest itself as a rash if so can it be anywhere on the body or can this sympton also come up as spots.

Your views would be appreciated...

Please define for me what you mean by "the rash". And, if you're attempting to diagnose HIV based on a rash, you're really heading in the wrong direction. chris

Thanks for your reply Chris, guess i am suffering from anxiety as you can probably see from my earlier posts. Just the person ( friend ) i had an encounter with had a rash ( similar to a heat rash ) come up on her face, it lasted for approx 12 hours. Ive not had this apart from a few spots on my body ( approx 3 / 4 ). Have asked the girl in question about HIV, she just laughed and said dont be silly, i dont believe she has been tested. Just got me more concerned because of the rash, spots and i have had 3 colds in approx 4 months.

I know you cant tell me im ok, i will get tested after Xmas, just wanted your views on the rash. My encounter was 12 months ago.

I am glad someone as asked about rashes to, I had a unwanted encourtner back in july/aug with someone. Although I developed a heat rash in the summer this is normal for me. How ever I now have a rash developing on my arms whixh are pink round slightly raised spots, not pus filled, they are no where else on my body as I can see at present just on my arms, they are real itcy. I tried to look on the net for information but I am confused as the pictures I seen look nothing like the rash I have, yet on other sites it says a person who is HIV positive can suffer from any rash but does not inform me of the types of rash so I can find out more info. Can anyone help? My parner does not know I had this unwanted encourt I have not dicussed it with anyone apart on here I just found out I preg with my partner and I wondering if the rash is horman changes or could i hurt the baby or am I panicking over nothing, can any one help?
