What does this mean. The blot is uninterpretable due to high nonspecific background. Resubmisson of a fresh specimen at a later date is suggested. Forgot to add this is from the Western blot

A western blot? Does this mean you took the ELISA test and tested positive? Or did they just use this test first?

An uninterpretable test could mean a lot of things, and it does not necessarily mean you are positive. I haven't done much research into what an uninterpretable test means, and I don't know how much help I can be. My advice to you would be to wait a month or so and retest, perhaps using a different test.

it could mean a one of a few things,none of which point towards being positive. its nothing to worry or fret over, a fudged test just means that you need to be retested again.it could of come from improper handling of the sample,errors by the one's checking the sample and so on. you don't need to wait.. just go back and get another test taken.
