I was pricked by a staple yesterday after I opened up my prescription bag. I didn't notice any blood on the bag nor on the staple, so I don't think the person who gave me my prescrption was bleeding. I looked at my finger and it was bleeding, so now I am worried that there may have been someone elses blood on the staple, and now it has infected me.... help please
Your risk is exactly nil.
you cannot get hiv that way.
a hollow point needle is a risk because it gives hiv a controlled enviorment to survive.
out in the air it will die quickly because it cannot survive there for long.
