contracted hiv 2006 oct (cd4 now 450)

I contracted hiv in 2006 oct and i only went for cd4 count and viral load test now, they came back 450 and 1300 respectively and im trying to analise this results and the time frame, what could this mean.Im actually looking for facts not words of incouragement. Please help to analise what you think might be happening here.

those numbers are pretty good
over 10 years of being infected mine have fluctuated above and below that level
being that i was off meds for quite a while
the magic number you want is to stay above 200 on your cd4 count
when your are below that you are considered having aids
and at that level very supsceptible to
opportunistic illness's to occur.
do you currently take meds???
if not, in a year you will be on the way towards 200
where you don't want to be.
if you do take meds you should be able to hold that number and do good.

medication, or pills... its also call therapy
if you can get on them, you can live a long time
they will help your body keep your cd4 count up
so your body has the ability to fight off illness's
without them in a few years you will be in trouble.

The info i have is that once you get on treatment you dont stop with you medication its actually lifetime, but you said you went of meds for some time how is that possible, or could it be the type of meds we use South Africa
