Post What does Oral Thrush Look like?
Hi i have a question,im really confused,can someone plaese tell me what oral thrush looks like? I sometimes have a white coating in the middle back part of my toungue,i bought a toungue scrapper and managed to remove it.But now im worried it might be oral thrush,what does it look like? Feel like?

Everybody has some sort of tongue coating. Make sure you are not confusing that with thrush. Thrush is not common in healthy adults generally but can happen in HIV+ people when there t cell count drops considerably in the later stages. Thrush usually affects the whole mouth-not just the tongue and its usually white patches sometimes cottage cheese like that can be scraped off.

No its not like that,i have looked at some slides and it looks nothing like any of them im pleases to say and it is only on my toungue!!! Thankyou fpr replying to me god bless you xxxxxx
