Question Rare birth defect / Can she still be infected??

Ok some of you might think this is a DUMB question and I am sure the answer is yes but I am going to ask anyway ok? My 21 yr old daighter was dx at 17 with a very rare birth defect. Its called Mullerian Aplasia. It is the absence of the uterus , cerxix fallopian tubes and the "upper half" of the vaginal canal. She spents month in physical therapy at Sick kids in Toronto and dialated (used dilators) and created her own normal length vaginal canal ( she only had 1 inch before) Question now is she as much at risk of contracting HIV without protection as anyone without that problem? I say yes and she should still use condoms which she is but her b/f is trying to tell her she is at no risk because she has no uterus or cervix. So far she is listening to me and using condoms but I just want proof from you nice people here to show her I am right and shes at risk just like anyone else that doesnt practice safe sex. Thank you for your help in advance.

im not sure if it would increase her risk but is her b/f positive for HIV, because if he tested negative their is no risk for infection. Not that she shouldnt use a condom, but HIV is not a third party transmitted disease.

the fact that she has NO uterus or cervix has nothing to do with HIV. Once HIV gets in the blood stream she will contract it. Has he been tested? Regardless, if he wants to stop using condoms, he needs to agree to get an HIV test. Any guy that would want his girlfriend to put herself at risk doesn't seem to care a whole lot anyways.

i was totally misunderstanding the post. I thought that their were other issues besides not having a cervix, as sunflower has stated that would not increase the risk at all. HIV is bloodbourne, therefore there needs to be some sort of passageway, the cervix has nothing to do with this passageway.

The fact that she has no uterus or cervix will not increase or decrease or chances of HIV. That is not relevant. HIV can still find its way into the blood stream. I think her boyfriend needs to be tested so both of you don't have to worry about this.
