I have a burning tounge and lips sensation most of the day for last one month. White and yellow crusts on my lips that goes after lot of scraping.

Tested ELISA negative after four months.

Never had any such problem in my life. What can account for such burning mouth and possible fungal infection? I'm having lot of white deposits near the lower teeth and gum joints. I'm not on any antibiotics, smoking or anything that will cause any fungal infection?

My exposure history is only one instance of insertive protected vaginal sex but I took the condom from the lady (sex-worker) I met in a club and not sure it was Latex or not as i was not aware of the fact that Animal condoms exists and they pose HIV risk.

Please *please* reply as my worry is killing me.

Got my PCR RNA result undetectable < 400 (roche amplicor v1.5) and ELISA both negative now at four and half months.

Also I forgot to mention that I have Gilbert's Syndrome that I was diagnosed with two doctors independently 3 year before. Can this delay my sero-conversion status?

Given all these information please advise what should I do now?

It sounds like thrush; yeast infection of the mouth.

It is very unlikely that you are hiv positive. The chances are like 3 percent or less. Not everyone who has thrush (counting thats what you do have..) is hiv positive. Did you ask your doctors if they felt you needed to retest? In my opinion you do not have hiv and it would be extremely rare if you did considering you are past the three month window period. As for your syndrome I dont know how that would effect seroconversion. Does this syndrom weaken your immune system. i have only heard of seroconversion being delayed by coinffection with hepetitis.

Hard to tell what is going on in your mouth, but rest assured your HIV tests at 4.5 months is conclusive. I suggest you see a dentist.
