Hi
I had unprotected sex with a prostitute around 1 & 1/2 years ago......i had intercourse about three times in one night.
I'm really scared that i've contracted HIV although i have no symptoms.
I'm even more scared of testing.....
Please give me ur opinion.....what are my chances of being HIV +ve??

Anytime there is unprotected sex then there is a risk. Once, twice, a hundred times. If its unprotected then you are at risk. I cant give you a rate on the chances of whether or not you could have it. And although testing is hard to do, you should definitly have one. For you emotional, mental AND physical health.

the risk is said to be 1/8000 per episode of unprotected vaginal with an hiv infected partner.
we also cannot be sure she had hiv.
but either way you must get tested.
if negative your negative because you are past the window period.

Chances to get the virus is about 1/600 during unprotected vaginal sex. Get tested now to ease your mind.
