I'm new to all this so bear with me. I performed unprotected oral sex on a guy, he ejaculated in my mouth, I swallowed. I know before this incident he had been with 7 other girls. A little over 6 months after this encounter I was tested for HIV at my doctor's office. The test came back negative. That's good right? WRONG! He wants to test me again at the 9 and 12 month mark. Why does he want to do this?? I called his office and asked the nurse when the best time to test for HIV was and she said test at 9 weeks after the exposure and that is it! Just 9 weeks!? Then why does he want to see me again at 9 and 12 months??? Should I be worried? Do you think something went wrong with the test?... please help!
