hey ddd2222 , you seem knowledgable on the subject of HIV....
what do you think about mono like illness 2 days after exposure? and toenail fungus and hand fungus as one of the first signs of hiv manifestation...
also the prevelence of warts on hands...

i just repeat stuff i've read. i really can't help with symptoms. i can tell you that from what i read ars normally begins 2 to 4 weeks after exposure and is described as the worse flu you ever had. skin problems can be related to stress, but it's best to get them checked by your doctor.
i too am a worried well, going for my 13 week test next week and am very anxious and scared myself.
what was your exposure?

unprotected vaginal , as the insertive partner....
about 3 yrs ago.... I haev opted for the home access test, which i will be taking next week...

i've read the risk from a one time unprotected vaginal exposure as the insertive partner is 1/8000.

your results at 3 yrs will be conclusive. the odds are in your favor from a one time exposure.

Your symptoms certainly do not sound like HIV. Ive never heard of warts, or toe/finger nail fungus as a sign of infection. Also, symptoms two days after exposure would be highly unlikley.
