STD Testing and HIV testing - HIV Prevention Message Board

I have been having horrible abdominal/ Pelvic pains. Started after having unprotected sex with someone 45 days ago. Condom broke the first two times. After that he assured me he was tested and negative for everything and i knew i was too, i had just gotten tested.

Now, I have been having painful urination, painful pelvic area, urinating several times at night, 4-5 times at night.

I had an STD testing last week, after 45 days of exposure. They did HIV, Ghonorea, Clamydia, Syfillis, Herpes, HPV all were negative.

QUESTION:
Did i test too soon?
if so, how soon should i go back?
When is HIV testing conclusive?
Is there anything else i should ask to be tested for?
When would everything be conclusive in terms of testing????

Did they check for a plain old UTI? They must have given your symptoms. Also, it could be what's called "honeymoon cystitis"...look it up...if you are negative for a UTI then I would say it's most likely that. I had it many years ago when having sex with my ex...once we stopped having sex...the cystitis stopped!
