please help me anxiety killing me hiv question
thank you for answering my question
15 days ago i went to my doctor and he said to me to do
regular blood test and hiv test
i did the reqular blood test then i went to the Laboratory
and i did the hiv test 8 minutes between the two tests
what im afraid from
that where i did the hiv test the doctor Not wearing gloves
he used a new Needle but he wasnt wearing gloves
and before he put the needle in my hand he put his finger on the same place
where i did the first blood test same hole
am i at risk please help im going so crazy
please help
i recived the answer after 1 hour negative but im afraid from this point please help
now 8 days after from what happened with me i got diarrhea and its till now
please help me answer

Hi Don,

Personally, I've never heard an account of HIV transmission via skin. I've had my blood taken on numerous occasions, and from what I recall, most were wearing protective gloves, but while certainly unprofessional to some degree, I don't think that the lack of protective gloves poses any risk to you of acquiring HIV. I'm just another forum goer, but that's my advice.
