Being a member on this forum makes me feel that I'm being anchored by 3 very capable, patient, and informative gentlemen. Thank you very much Apollo,Smiteler and Joggen!!!!
Would you guys advice me to retest again at the 12th week or I can move on here after?
Is it alright for me to ask questions with regards to Chylamida and gonnorhea here?
I have just tested myself at the 70th day mark and got a negative.
But I have been experiencing neck pains ( like occasional ) throbbing pains in the side of the neck and sometimes at the back, and pains in the ear as well.
Having said that, I usually use my laptop while lying down on my tummy flat. Could these pains be due to my posture? I highly doubt it.
Hiya mate, well its only good news getting a negative result, but your 12 week test is conclusive. It would so so so unlikley if that come back positive, infact i cannot recall a case of it from this testing date. Really start to relax because your fine mate

Well I just tested negative at 11 weeks. I guess this is probably the 14th time in the duration of 11 weeks I have tested and they have all with god's grace turned out negative.
Thank you guys for all you have done for me really, This forum truly became and is still is my lifeline so I can stay sane.
Thanks!

Buddy you are grossly over testing. An HIV status is determined by two tests, one at between 4 and 6 weeks and a confirmation test at 12 week. You do not need any more. If you keep testing the way you have been doing you run the real risk of a false positive result. It does happen, I have seen it happen, when people over test. The results and fall out from this can be devastating. You do not need to test the way you have been doing.
What do I think of you 14th negative result at 11 weeks? You have not got HIV. If you want to confirm this have one more test at 12 weeks and no more. It will be negative.

Reason: typo
I have been testing on the rapid tests at my local government health clinics all this while and in the last one 11th week I tested using the EZ-TRUST self test kit. It is not FDA approved but approved by USAIDS.
The previous ones after the 6th week 3rd gen elisa tests were all at local government health clinics using the INTEC ADVANCED QUALITY RAPID TEST ( finger ***** type ). This too is not FDA approved.
So thats the reason why I am feeling a little doubtful as I have read on how people go on preaching literally about those FDA Approved kits.
I need your inputs on this guys. Does it really matter on those kits and the generation type at this point ?
Thanks guys, seeing a reply from you all makes me feel 'connected' as I have not been talking in person with anyone about this matter really.
Buddy you are fuelling your own doubts here. Fortunately your doubts don’t determine your HIV status, an HIV test does. You have had 14, all negative. Do the maths buddy, it is not rocket science.
No at this point it does matter what test you take, you have not got HIV, period.
