i had an possible chance of getting hiv maybe 2 or 3 weeks before i got tested on 2/15/12, results were negative, but i was still scared because of this window period, so i got tested again on 3/17/12 and results where negative is this enough time?
the first test was at clinic and it was a trinity unigold rapid hiv test and the second one was ELISA/Western blot tests for HIV where they took the 2 tubes of blood, which i took in the ER, how accurate are these test and should i be tested again?
why do they take 2 tube of blood? the sexual contact i had was deep kissing, she gave me oral and i fingered her. im not sure if i had any small cuts on fingers but i no i wasnt bleeding, does this matter?
thanks you guys for answering, but i have to ask, how can you be so sure there was know real chance of exposure, I know im not a doctor, but sense i have been scared i have done a bit of research and i find that there are know absolutes with this issue, what do u guys know that i dont?
