I had protected intercourse with sex worker but condom broke and I immediately withdrew. This unprotected exposure was for less than 5 seconds. Then I put on another fresh condom and had intercourse for less than 15 seconds before I withdrew to check the condom. To my horror, i saw two tiny blood drops on the condom(condom was intact). Then I saw the previous condom, it too had a tiny blood drop. She told her menses stopped 3 days ago.
The Sex-worker told me she had gotten herself tested and results came out clean one month back. I will get her tested again tomorrow.
What is my chance of contracting HIV ? If she comes out to be negative tomorrow, should I stop worrying ?
I promise never to be so irresponsible again, but now I am having suicidal tendencies. So please help quickly !!
Hiya Sam, its blunt post to shock you out of this. You made a mistake im guessing but dont beat yourself up about it, whats done is done. You would be very unlucky indeed to get HIV from a one time exposure and i do mean unlucky.
When was your exposure?

It was yesterday, just hours before I posted this query.
And I really appreciate your concern.
Right now, I am going to get her tested.
I would update you once her results are out.
Should not take more than 3-4 hours from now.
I got her tested and she does not have HIV. Thank God for that
Considering that my unprotected exposure was less than 5 seconds and her latest results, should i breathe a little bit easy now ?? What do you say ?
In any case, a heartfelt thanks for helping me with this mate . I pledge never to repeat such acts.
Thats ok sam. Well i would take a test at 6 weeks, but as she tested negative, your very brief exposure i would be amazed if your 6 week test was positive and i mean amazed. Test for peace of mind nothing more buddy, but personally i belive your fine
