Firstly. I know there have been a number threads on giving oral and HIV but the fear I have means I want to lay out MY experience and get opinions.
Last Friday night I met and performed unprotected oral sex on a pre op transsexual. She acts as a "professional" and did assure me she was clean and regularly tested.
During our play I performed deep throat and well gagged the odd few times.
I do not believe he/she ejaculated and my gums etc are healthy with no visible cuts or sores.
Since Friday I have spent a long time reading articles online. Some saying giving oral is 0% others up to 10%! Other sites have said that deep throat increases the risk of infection.
I also have a sore throat which I guess could come from the deep throat.
I don't know who to believe to be honest. Just worried.
well oral sex is not a risk of hiv transmission. this has been proved over 30 years of study as their have been no reliable cases reported. Their is little point saying any more as your will either accept it or you wont, but as we see over 10 threads a week on this and you have more than likley read them and thoses that tested came back negative, then you can decide if you choose to worry about this any longer.
Hope that helps

I understand your point about the other threads but in my worried state I was thinking that those were the "lucky ones" and that my case was somehow different.
I can rest easy now and stop linking every sneeze to HIV.
Buddy most everybody that comes here thinks they are the unlucky one, the one that somehow managed to buck the trend and their situation is somehow different. In the entire six years I have been, as best I can recall, only one person has been the unlucky one. His risk was extremely high and he knew it. You are hardly likely to be the second one.
And yes stopping putting every sneeze and cough down to HIV is an extremely good idea.

Thank you
"lucky ones" no buddy, its a fact that HIV isnt passed on in this manner. If it were their would be far more HIV positive people and more warning about oral sex. As it stands it isnt the case as no body gets HIV from oral sex
I glad your not going to worry about sneezing as well

One of the major downsides of the Internet is that you can find information that you can twist to your fees. Numerous sites about 10% risks from oral, studies etc.
ON the net you will find sites who will convince you HIV dosnt kill you and its the medication by evil doctors, no joke. I know HIV can scare people by its very 3 letters, but the facts dont lie and if their were a risk to yourself we would never hide that fact from you.
