HIv Window period

Hello doctor i had sex with loose condom on may 3rd, and i did Hiv-1 Rna Qualitative(NAT test)after 30 days. the result is not detectable. and after 60 days i took HIV combi(hiv 1 &2 antibodies + HIv-1 Antigen)(ECLIA Method) the result is non reactive, Is that is enough or still i have to do any further test, Im afraid as im not feeling comfortable having throat infection and stomach pain and also some skin infections, if u answer it will be great Doctor, Thanks.

Hi,

There are no doctors, HIV experts or specialists on this forum. You can only be offered member to member advice here. Buddy you had protected sex and did not even need to test for HIV. The fact the condom felt loose makes no difference. As long as the head of your penis was covered you were fully protected from an HIV infection.

Because you were not exposed to an HIV infection and you didnít really need to test, yes you can consider your test conclusive, you do not have HIV and have no need for further testing.

Kevin.

Having a loose condom is not a risk of HIV transmission. As long as your penis head is covered then your safe from HIV.
