Exposure from Shaving cuts.

Today I mutually masturbated with my boyfriend of 2 weeks. Yesterday, I shaved my pubic hair, but I have numerous nicks and pimples from doing it. I shaved about I don't know, 13 hours before this all happened. He ejaculated on me, and some of it went on my pubic area.

1. Is there a risk?
2. Should I consider PEP?

I've asked him about his HIV status, and he showed me proof that he had tests done prior which were all negative (4 months before), however he said he had 1 protected sexual encounter in that period. He said he would get tested for me tomorrow, at my anxious request. He has been really great and supportive about it all, and it's only made me love him more.

Another question I have is, if he touched my penis (uncut) with semen on his hands, could that infect me through my mucous membrane? :O
Should I be worried? Please help. I'm only 15, and not out to my parents, so I have no support there. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Exposure from Shaving cuts.

You never had a risk of HIV. HIV is passed on via unprotected sex.

Re: Exposure from Shaving cuts.

Thankyou. The cuts don't appear to be bleeding, but they're red, and they're everywhere.

Re: Exposure from Shaving cuts.

That might be the case, but their is no route for HIB transmission. Those cuts heal straight away and not to mention HIV once exposed to air will not survive, thats why you are not at risk of HIV.

Re: Exposure from Shaving cuts.

So I can consider myself negative? It would be better to be safe than sorry yes? Would PEP be an option?

You never had a risk of HIV, so you most certainly do not need PEP.
