Something that has stole my soul.

Almost exactly 3 months ago i had a sexual intercourse with an escort. I used a condom throughout oral and vaginal sex. The vaginal sex was brief and afterwards I belive I remember her taking the condom off and it was holding the fluids, meaning I had ''protected sex''. 2 weeks later, I had muscle pain for a day or two, aches in my belly (left and right side) and I started to show symptoms of a flu (I took flu pills and it was gone in like 5 hours). Then, afer 1-2 months i noticed a rash in my back (I believe i had this before, or maybe it's due to the heat and I still have this to this day) and after I helped my father with some hard task, my finger skin peeled off for more than a week (due to the nature of the work, I wasn't surprised but it lasted for more than a week).
I know my chances of getting HIV are small but I tried to be pragmatic with the symptoms anf they fit. I am very likely to be infected and I can't get tested anytime soon and basically my soul is gone. I haven't been able to live.
I would appreciate your imput. Thanks for listening in this time of need.

Re: Something that has stole my soul.

Nothing you have posted is in anyway symptomatic of an HIV infection. ARS symptoms ( symptoms of a primary HIV infection) , if they happen at all happen 2 to 4 weeks after being infected and last for the same time. They come together and go together. The amount or lack of symptoms should never be used to diagnose a HIV status, only an HIV test will but what you have described does not even resemble ARS symptoms. Given that you were in no way even exposed to an HIV infection whatever is wrong with you is certainly not related to an HIV infection.

Re: Something that has stole my soul.

Your chances of having contracted HIV from this are non existent, not small. YOu were never at risk for HIV and would not even need testing for this.

The symptoms? They are just that....symptoms of something, any dime a dozen cold, flu, heat rash, whatever. I would not even think about HIV a moment longer. HIV is transmitted through UNprotected vaginal and anal sex. Oral sex is not a risk.

Re: Something that has stole my soul.

If you need a 3rd opinion, here it is:

It's what you do that is most important in determining a risk, not who you have sex with. If you use a condom you can have sex with anybody you want, escort, street prostitute, crack *****, etc, without putting yourself at risk for HIV infection.

You never had an exposure to HIV and therefore do not have an HIV concern.

Re: Something that has stole my soul.

you have a few choices to make...
you can do it the easy way and
accept the fact that in no way you have hiv
and move on with your life.

or seek professional help to accept those facts

any other choice you make will lead you towards both
of those answers eventually..
good luck
