Unhappy symptoms????

Soooo I had asked how likely it would be that I got HIV from having protected sex with a guy who's very free with his Willy.... Two really nice guys said not likely, and it really brought my mood up, But...

A couple days after having sex with him I started getting abdominal pain, slight discharge, sore throat, and headaches. He either gave me a flu or something else. When I looked up the symptoms it said hiv.

I'm going to get tested Tuesday, even though its unlikely for it to show up this early. (its been one week). Could it be HIV? I started feeling symptoms after 3 days..

Re: symptoms????

Lol meg, indeed the sticky by Kevin is a must read for anyone who wants to talk about symptoms and why it's pointless. Now my concern is why are you testing, it's pointless. You had protected sex, you were not at risk of HIV. Even if you had a risk it would be to soon so you might as well test for prostate cancer for all the good it will do.

You need and understand your first thread and forget about this.

Smile Re: symptoms????

Because I read its still possible to get it with a condom. Being that I have had stds before when I thought it couldn't happen to me, I'm very obsessive about it. I'm careful, but hearing his sex history made me very jittery. I should stop having sex but so hard. -_-

Thanks again Apollo, I'll try to stop worrying <3

Re: symptoms????

Meg it's impossible to get HIV when using a condom and I mean impossible. I have no idea what you read but it's incorrect.

Re: symptoms????

Hi,

HIV symptom chasing as it is called is pointless. All you can be advised here is you were not at risk of an HIV infection from what you have described and I neither have any idea where you got the notion that condoms are not safe. They offer complete protection from an HIV infection.

Please do yourself a huge favour, stop trying to fabricate an HIV concern for yourself. You are literally going to be wasting your time and effort. Please let it go and get on with your life.

Kevin.
