I'd sex with a sex worker. She actually looked very willing with me and was attracted. We had a great time. We were so mch into it, that in the course of action, I removed my condom and had her for about 5 minutes. Then I noticed my foreskin being streatched back and it looked fine. No bleeding though. It was the first time I ever did anything like that. There were no traces of her fluid on my genital's surface and I hope I can be sure of the fact that she couldn't have had HIV, since while having sex, she even told me not to do anyone without a condom, which shows that she herself was cautious and since she liked me, she just showed her concern.
I even read articles about HIV odds of transmission. The worst ever round figure I read till now was the chance of 1 in 78, of HIV being transmitted in one Penial - vaginal - insertive partner course with a HIV- Positive partner. The figure was somewhere mentioned as 1 in 500 too.
Anyways I'm going to test my self by December, before christmas, this year and have the good news of being tested negative from Western Blot Test.
However, I'd just like to know, are my perceptions about me being confident, that I wouldn't have had attracted HIV, considering the situation, are considerably right?
WEll its unlikley she has HIV but that cannot be taken for granted and its unlikley you would get HIV from a one time exposure. That said its not wise to have unprotected sex and with sex workers. You will need to test at 3 months and you should test at 4 weeks for all std's.
Best of luck.

My 5 weeks are over now, since the day of my suspicion. Within these days, I'd exprienced one time fever with cold and cough identified as LRI - Lower REspiratory Infection by my father himself, ENT Surgeon (MBBS, MS) and I got cured after 4 days of having a course of antibiotics. If I had contracted HIV, I wouldn't have had recovered from the flu. However, Today I'm, likely to develop a little cold again due to weather change. I've no rashes, no bleeding from my genitals and no symptoms at all.
I'd like to have a feedback from you regarding above said case.
Buddy the only feedback you are realistically going to be given on any HIV forum is the feedback you have already been given. You cannot be offered speculative opinions on your ailments or lack of. The presence or absence of HIV is never determined by symptoms so please stop offering them up in an attempt to try and gain an insight into your HIV status. They cannot be commented on within this setting.
As you have already been advised, if you had unprotected sex with somebody who's HIV status is unknown to you, you should test out to 12 weeks. If you wish to test for HIV now, at 5 weeks, the result will give you a very good indicator of you HIV status, but it will not be conclusive.
Buddy, you may feel it is harsh but it is true and was said with your interests in mind and was by no means intented to be harsh. You really cannot be offered speculative opinions on your symptoms here and if anybody was to do so it would be of no benefit to you.
The only place you will ever be offered a correct diagnosis of any medical condition is with a doctor, not on internet forums. If you are experiencing anything at all that is adding to your anxiety please speak to a doctor.

Sure thanks.....I just wanted to know, how come my fever got cured in just 4 days of antibiotics, if I'm infected with HIV, one week after. And a month after cold again and got rid of it within a day...Whether this indication even supports me or not, in view of HIV infection?
You being an expert, I'd prefer an opinion on the odds of me having HIV in some figures, rather being told to just go for a test after 12 weeks, because this fact is known to every concerned person and this board wouldn't serve any purpose at all, I suppose, with all due respect, Sir.
With repeatedly being asked by the board members not to keep posting new or extending threads, when they really require to know something they are ignorant of, is exactly what is called being harsh. If 12 week test is the only answer and figures from an expert don’t matter, then again, with all due respect, please do make a notification post saying "12 week test must and no discussion entertained" in HIV/AIDS board so that every one can keep shut and no one needs to get "HARSH".......
the odds mean nothing
either you got infected by hiv or you didn't..
you only need to be the "one"
i tested positive myself in under 3 weeks from exposure
a test for you at 5 weeks will tell the story.
the only way at 5 weeks that the test could be wrong
if if you have other MAJOR health complictions going on
like a transfusion or other things that you would be
well aware of before going in.
they use the 12 week window only to err on the side of caution.
as for your symptoms,it is really pointless to comment much
because hiv will effect each person in a different manner
so there is no baseline to compare with.
i will say your symptoms in no way compare to
what i experianced.
that and 2 dollars will get you a cup of coffee.
just go get tested and end your speculations
it is that simple..
kevin might come across as a little harsh to you
but it sounds that way to emphasize a point
not to be mean..
