I want to know your opinion about my situation. I have done unprotected anal sex as a top several times and the last one is on 26/6/2012. After i realize that it is a risky activity,i stop doing that. I went for a blood test after 8 weeks and 10 weeks exposure and both turn out negative. On 1/10/2012,it was 13 weeks after exposure and i make another test and it turn negative also. I do all my tests in 3 different labarotary which gave me the result a day after the test. Whats make me worried is i have symptoms such as night sweat,long-term diaarrhea and oral thrush(red warts on my tongue). All the symptoms does not recover at all except night sweat. I have several questions for u.
1.Is the laboratory test after 13 weeks exposure is accurate enough or i have to wait untl 6 months?is the results is conclusive and unlikely to change after 6 months?
2.if i am not infected with hiv, what is the symptoms all about?hope u can guess it for me because i'm leaving in a foreign country and its hard to find doctors who are able to speak english.
3.among all kinds of test, which will give the most accurate result?is all kinds of test will give accurate result after 13 weeks exposure?
tq for ur kindness.
Any fda approved test at 3 months is conclusive and that means you do not have hiv and no more testing is required. we do nit get involved with symptoms on this forum, but to add they sound like stress but if your concerned see a doctor about them.
