Please help!!
 

I had a brief l unprotected vaginal exposure 6 weeks ago. I am female. After the event I started to panic. I contacted the guy and he said he was clean went and got tested. Sent me all the pics of paperwork and even the rapid test to my phone he also called me from the clinic and put the woman on the phone she stated the man in front of her was negative. He said the last time he had sex unprotected was may with a live in girlfriend. I then went and tested negative. I kept calling him crying because I have had numerous symptoms diarrhea rashes more like bumps that come and go and throat discomfort . He then went and tested negative at 4 weeks. I have tested negative at 43 days. Can anyone please tell me if I am being crazy and what the chances are of my result changing???

well you are over reacting some what.

His status will not confirm your own although it will offer some comfort. Your test is good news but a 3 month test is conclusive.

In the mean time just relax a little. Its very unlikley he would have hiv and its unlikley you would get hiv from a one time exposure anyway.

How accurate is a six week? Thanks, it does help . I have read 95% to 99% is that true?

the one percent is people who have major health
complications like a transfusion,transplant or other major
problems going on.
you will be ok..

God bless you. That really helps. I suffer from ocd so this has been hell. I had a regular antibody test at quest
