Had unprotected sex on may 21st. Took the HIV express kit test 2 months after exposure. I bought it from Walgreens it was the 60$ one. Got negative results back, but Im scared the results weren't accurate that early after exposure. Was it accurate at 2 months after exposure?
You must have used the Home Access test since that was the only test available at that time.
Yes, the Home Access would be very accurate at 2 months. A negative result at 2 months is pretty much telling you that you don't have HIV. But to be maximally safe, you should have a confirmatory antibody test. If you want to test at home, the newly approved OTC Oraquick test is available.
