Hi. One of my tests for syphlis is reactive and I am going to get a confirmation test. I am a bi male and have not had anal for 8 months . All my std results since then including hiv have been negative. In the last 6 months I have only received not performed oral from a few guys. My latest results were 2 months ago all negative . I have a couple of small red pimple like bumps on my penis head which come and go, usually they show up after rough oral. They are not sores or blisters and my doctor didn't mention anything about syphlis he thought they were sebaccious glands or dermatitis. Swabs were taken and came back negative for herpes as well as other stds - only blood test for syphlis was reactive . My question is what are my chances of acquiring hiv from receiving oral with syphlis with or without physical symptoms? Thanks
No risk from oral sex, saliva is harsh to HIV. Think about the widespread infection there would be from kissing and oral sex if it were actually a rsik .
The pimples after rough oral are from the rough oral.
Thanks . Is it safe to say that having syphllis or another std increases your chance of acquiring hiv from say unprotected anal but oral sex is still no risk even if one of the partners has an std?

Thats correct, oral sex is still nit a concern in that situation.
