Question HIV Duo antibody test vs. ELISA antibody test

Is the antibody portion of the HIV Duo test essentially the same as the ELISA antibody test?

If not, how are they different to one another?

You had zero risk, so any test will give you the same result.

Re: HIV Duo antibody test vs. ELISA antibody test

I already have my negative Duo result, not planning another test... Just curious and wanted learn more about HIV and testing in general in case of a future event that may be a high risk.

Just a thought, Or you could just be sure to always use a condom to protect yourself and avoid "high risk" situations all together.

Agreed and also just remember, HIV is passed on via unprotected sex, nothing else from a sexual manner buds.
