I've tested at 86 days which was negative using clearview 1/2 stat-pak
But I'm still having pimple like rash on my abdomen area also a shocking(weird) feeling on my left leg and my fingers feels a little sore, when I wake up in the morning, is this a symptom of hiv? Are my 86 day conclusive or do I need to retest at 6 months? My exposure was unprotected oral sex (giver and receiver)to another man unknown hiv status.. I don't remember if I had a canker sore in mouth at that time, but I know I had a cracked wisdom tooth..

Hi jonny. Well oral sex is not a risk of hiv and your test has confirmed that and you dont need to test again. your symptoms cannot be hiv realted for 2 reasons.

1. Hiv symptoms dont last this long.

2. If they were related then you would have tested positive.

Thank-you.. I was really worried about my symptoms.
I know that oral sex is very low risk or no risk at all.. It's just that I have these pimple like dots on my stomach area, my sexual encounter happened on July 17,2012 started having symptoms between 4 1/2 weeks and up til this day I'm still having these pimple like dots..
4 weeks- negative
5 weeks- negative
6 weeks- negative
8 weeks- negative
11 weeks- negative
12 weeks 2 days- negative all using clearview 1/2 stat pak..

Even if you had a risk, you have tested negative and you dont have hiv. If your symptoms were hiv related then you would havd tested postive anyway.

So your best off speaking to your doctor who may be able to help you with your rash.
