| Accuracy of ELCIA (cobas e 144)
Hi
Please does anyone have any information regarding the type (ie generation of test) that I took. It was a ECLIA cobas e 144.
Is this a 2nd/3rd generation test. Also is this a modern test, as I am familiar with the ELISA but have never heard of this one. I did ask someone at the hospital and he said 2nd gen (although he did not sound too sure)
Can someone please clarify this for me as I can't seem to find much info on this.
Sorry if this sounds rather technical, but I am aware from reading posts from dr Sean on freedom health, he has had experiences where 2nd gen tests frequently produced false negatives.
I did get tested at 8 months, but I'd feel better if I knew what gen the test was
