I had protected vaginal intercourse with a sex worker 4 months ago. I know everyone said that I was at no risk, but my friends have told me about sex workers here making holes in condoms and for some reason I cant seem to get it out of my head.
I got tested at 4 months. I'm not sure what the exact name of the test was, but they took a drop of blood and put it onto two different strips. After 15 minutes my result was negative.
The thing is, how conclusive is that result? For the past couple weeks, Ive been having a low grade fever intermittently during the day combined with fatigue. I read that fevers that come and go are a common symptom of ARS. Is it likely that I'm having a delayed seroconversion after 3 months?
Thanks so much for bearing with me. Im sorry if my questions have been annnoying
Your friends are incorrect and if anything are playing with your mind. If their was a hole in the condom it would break, or be to small to be any concern. That said your test was conclusive at 3 months. Delayed sero is not a concern for you and this whole thing should not be either.
