At first I was unconcerned....then...

I had anal sex protected with a professional recently (top and very brief) only my 3rd time doing this. Anyway seeing as it was (to my knowledge) protected i didn't worry. But then something happened let me give you a timeline of events:
Day one: Possible exposure (condom worn & unbroken to my knowledge)
Day eight: Almost to the hour a sore throat develops as evening approaches a headache, aches, chills, night sweats etc.
Day Nine: Today symptoms peaked really tired, bed ridden, swollen neck glands (golf ball size) and a headache
Day Ten: Still feeling crap i went to the Dr who took one look at my throat and said "bad case of strep throat" and prescribed antibiotics. 5 hours after starting them throat improves and overall well being improves over next few days.
Day Tweleve: Feeling much better no sore throat but still waking with light night sweats on arms and legs only!? Still a bit fatigued but feel as though I'm on the mend.
Is this ARS? Is it to soon for ARS? Now before anyone starts calling this a 'no risk' situation (which I would have agreed with if I hadn't got sick), I have found several cases in the "Just diagnosed" section of another forum where people say they used condoms and still got HIV.. This is why I'm scared. I even saw a post from a guy saying a dr told him he had strep throat so he decided to test anyway and came out poz and thinks the strep was ars.
Do i really have nothing to worry about regarding this exposure? Could those symptoms suggest something untoward happened to the condom that i did not notice? Or is all this purely coincidental ?
