Worried, Please help !

Dear Members

Please help as I am extremely worried on a possible exposure. Details Below:-

Exposure:- Sex with a CSW in August 2011. Mild Fever in Oct,2011 (8 weeks approx). Whilst I had the fever, I started googling symptoms. Was terror struck with the information. My encounter lasted for only 2 minutes, very brief. She was on top. I did use a condom but had no worn the same on an erect penis. I do not know, if that is correct way to use it. Although, I removed the condom afterwords,I am unsure of the correct usage.

What are my chances given the following:-

1. Her status is unknown.
2. Developed a Fever and Most of ARS symptoms in the 8th week.
3. Condom Used though nt correctly ( presuming)

Should I test? Very scared to a pos result.

Regard

Your pennis head was covered, so you can relax, you were not at risk of hiv.

Hi,

Yep that’s it. You do not need to test for HIV you were nowhere near an HIV infection.

Buddy terrifying yourself by goggling HIV symptoms when you were nowhere near a risk of an infection is the very worst thing you can possibly do. If you want further advice on top of the advice you have already been given, it would be to drop all thoughts you have about being infected with HIV and trying to use Google to look for answers.

Kevin.

Thanks Kev.

I had tested positive for Dengue Serology whilst I had the fever. Very prevalent at that point. Hope the same test isnt used for HIV as well?

Re: Worried, Please help !

You do not need to test for HIV; you were not in the slightest way exposed to, period.

Buddy, your concerns do not even belong on an HIV forum.

Your backbone fever as got absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with HIV.

Kevin.
