| Re: Most certainly got infected
Hi,
Buddy you need to find another doctor, one that knows what he is talking about. The only risk of an HIV infection, sexually, is when an unprotected penis is inside a vagina or anus. HIV is an extremely fragile virus and once exposed to air becomes non-viable (non-infectious) hence the reason any bodily fluid outside of the human body will not pose a risk of an infection. With or without the cuts on your finger nobody, not a single person, in the entire 30 years HIV has been around as ever contracted HIV from hand to genital contact. You will not be the first.
Your ailments have got absolute nothing to do with HIV. You were not in the slightest way exposed to it, even if she had HIV which in itself is unlikely.
And no, even if you had been at risk, which you most certainly were not, you would not have to wait for 6 months. All HIV test are conclusive at 3 months and have been since 2004.
If you want to test for peace of mind, now, any result you get will be negative and will be conclusive.
Kevin.
