HIV rapid test

I had a Insti rapid HIV test in 2010 after googling symptoms and convincing myself I had HIV after a risk in 2005. The test came back negative. I have since had other symptoms (swollen glands, loss of voice, thigh pains) and I am still convinced I may have HIV. Should I worry or is the test reliable?

Re: HIV rapid test

Your test was fine and accurate, you dont have HIV. If your still feeling unwell your doctor is the best person to help resolve your health issues, best of luck.

Re: HIV rapid test

Hi,

I agree with Apollo, your test trumps any symptoms you may have, which to be honest don't even resemble the symptoms of a primary HIV infection. HIV has been unequivocally and categorically ruled out. If you have on going health issues you should be discussing them with a doctor, they are not related to HIV.

Kevin.
