Wow what hell I have been going through. Here's my story. On June 16th and August 9th I performed unprotected oral sex to two different sex workers. Around the the last week in July I had a soar throat and diarrhea that stopped. Around the second week of September I came down with flu like symptoms slight grade fever , diarrhea, and the chills. After this I decided to get tested for hiv. If I used the August 9th date which is the last time I had unprotected sex I have taken tests at 40, 46,77, and 91 days and they have been negative. If I was infected on the June the 16th my last test would have put me around 130 days negative. What concerns me is that throughout this entire ordeal I have lost 30 pounds, broken out with pimple like bumps on my shoulders, midsection, and chest. I have also have dry flaky skin, off and on low grade fever, consistent soar throat, and issues with off and on diarrhea and gi issues. I am very scared I don't know if I can trust my results.
I am worried about the weight loss and the gi issues. I have been to a gi specialist and she could find nothing. What are the odds that I could test positive after 13 weeks?
Thanks
I know you are scared, I am in the similar situation but you have negative tests past the 12 week mark.
Only other suggestion is an infectious disease specialist. I have been told that there are many many community viral illnesses which are not HIV related. Trust your tests or look to find alternative illnesses - EBV or CMV? This is what I am hoping is my issue.

You should check your Chlamydia status. After a week from exposure, I had hight fever around 37.5 C to 39.3 C for a week, then I had sore throat for a week later. All my result was negative but positive with Chlamydia.
What are the odds that I could test positive after 13 weeks?
Thanks
Zero. There was ZERO risk before the HIV test, since oral sex is not a risk. With the negative HIV test, it simply proves you do not have HIV. It is impossible for you to have HIV.
