I had a possible exposure about 3 weeks back. Recently, I started developing
pimples like skin condition on my chest, shoulders, back and thighs.
They started few but now there are at least 20-25 of them.
Also, near my genital area there is some noticeable skin peel off.
My doctor said that the first one is Folliculitis while the second one is jock itch.
I wanted to know if these two can be caused by HIV infection?
don't let your imagination take over.
you already have a doctor's diagnosis for the rash.
the rash from HIV comes and goes fast and
does not have pimples so whatever you have isn't HIV related.

For the past 28 days, I have been so worried that whenever I am alone, the only thought that comes to mind is if I have HIV.
1. Not sleeping well
2. Not eating well, lost lots of weight (problem since I am already on the lower end of weight spectrum).
3. Feels feverish but no temperature
4. Adding to the concern, my doctor thinks my skin condition is folliculitis, jock itch. Further I changed my spectacles recently and now I feel that my vision is blurry.
In short I feel like s*** most of the time.
Am I over reacting? Is my concern legit? Any thoughts on how should I proceed is highly appreciated.
You never had a risk of hiv, you used condoms and protected sex is just, protected. Stop wasting your time about hiv and see your doctor if your unwell.

What i dont get is why you would think its hiv when you had protected sex, its not logical, but its quite natural to ill from hundreds of other more common things, so only a doctor can help you resolve this buds.

With one of the sex workers, when I pulled out the condom - there was some dripping - and I am afraid its because the condom had broken . Hence, the worry.

I took "hiv-1/2 ab eia with reflexes" test 6 weeks post possible exposure and it came back negative.
I wanted to know how accurate are these tests 6 weeks post possible exposure? Is it more than 99% or something like that?
