Hiv Risk

Hello,
i performed unprotective oral sex on a sex worker on august 9th of 2012 i do not know her status. About six weeks later i had all the ars syptoms. i have had tests at 40,46,77, 91, and 142 and they have been all negative. i am still worried about having hiv because i have had a very soar throat feels like something is stuck and i have had alot of gi issues constant rumbling of my stomach that wakes me up every night. i also have had a loose stool since September. i have read that hiv can affect the gi tract first and that worries me. i had lost about 30 pounds since september but i have put back on 10 pounds. in your opinion do i need to test to 180 days.

Thanks,

Re: Hiv Risk

in my opinion
you need to stop overtesting for HIV and find
something else to focus on.
you cannot get HIV thru oral sex.

Hi,

All HIV tests are conclusive at 3 months/90 days and have been since 2004. Had you actually had a risk of an HIV infection (which you did not) you should consider your tests as conclusive. You do not have HIV.

And, no, your ailments do not in the slightest resemble ARS symptoms.

In your last thread, which was closed, this was explained to you clearly.

Kevin
