Hi all,
Last year in month of march i had sex with a sex worker and during vaginal penetration my condom broke and i didn't ejaculate and i took out my penis immediately. But i was still scared that i might have contracted HIV. After 3 months i found warts in the tip of my penis and then i was scared to hell then after someday those genital warts gradually reduced, now its almost gone but still my HIV scare is not reduced. Can someone help me in this and guide me regarding the same.

The only way to resolve is to take a hiv test and if you havnt get tested for all std's .

But im scared to hell to have a test what if i return a positive result i know we cannot say by the symptoms but atleast tell me how risky im to test positive... Please

Your scared, but you maybe negative as well. All i can say is that you had a risk and a simple test will confirm your status.

Hi Amit,

First of all, i would say you had a risk but very minimal so you need to test out of window period which is 3 months (12-13weeks) and most probably it would be negative.

Secondly, symptoms cant diagnose HIV but only a test can.

Lastly, HIV is not very easy to catch but you should also test for all STDs which are far more easier to catch.

Most probably it would be nothing, good luck.
