Two weeks ago I had dental surgery done on my molar which was causing me a lot of pain. This involved a few injections to my gum in order to number the area.

I'm worried now because I didn't check whether a new needle was used at all.

Reason why I've started worrying is because 3 days after the procedure, I started getting ulcers around the area where I got the injection.

Then 11 days after the treatment I started getting a sort throat and other cold symptoms.

What is the likelihood of an infection under these circumstances.

I now plan on getting a test, how accurate is the ***** test after 3 months?

Any advice appreciated, so stressed at the moment, first my tooth pain and now this.
