Some women have thyroid problems after giving birth. I had hypothyroidism for many years after giving birth, and did not even know it. Finally got diagnosed many years after. I was sensitive to cold, low energy, my feet hurt after being on them for awhile, depressed.
Enemia can cause you to be sensitive to the cold also. Do you know your hemoglobin level is? Anything below 12, would be anemia.
