menopause again???? - Hormone Problems Message Board

I hope I am in the right place. Brief history....
My very first period was painful, I woke up the next morning soaked in bload from my chest to my knees, ruined clothing sheets comforter. Severe pain diagnosed as constapation. For 11 years they thought I was nuts! When I was 24 a doc wised up. I had lumps in my breasts the size of golf balls, an absess developed every cycle, sweating like a pig, clots the size of my fists. Said it was my body trying to go into menopause too early and endometriosis. The tissue was attached to my bladder and my intestines....explains wieght loss....I was losing alot of hair, muscle mass. I normally weigh 132, I weighed 112...and I am 5"9'. I was a twig. They did a
d n c, gave me a shot of lupron depo and I went through 6 months of menopause. I had a bad reaction to the shot....I lost more weight and went into severe depression. Birth control to make my cycles more regular. I was having cycles every other week.
Now I am 29 and once again sweating like a pig, breaking out, losing hair. the only difference? I can not loose weight! After my daughter was born 20 months ago, I have gained weight. I am in constant pain everywhere. I go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week, I eat fairly good. Alot of fruit and veggies, ton of water. I gained 10 pounds the first month I joined the gym.
I am deathly afraid of going through menopause again. Does anyone have any suggestions or alternatives they may know about...any new developments in technology?

Sounds to me that you are having thyroid trouble "hypothyroidism or hashis" Have you had it checked if not you need to...Ask to have a Tsh , t4free , t3free, and an antibody test..I think it is called tpo... check out the thyroid disorder board...

Could be condition regarding ovaries getting cysts. That makes your hair fall out and gain weight. Article in Women's World magazine last month.
