Beginning menopause - Hormone Problems Message Board

I'm hoping someone can help me out with some advice here. I'm 42 and was just to see my obgyn...I beleive I'm starting menopause because of the hotflashes...mood swings...no periods etc...only she didn't order any blood tests this time...she gave me a coupon for a free sample of "Avlimil". I called and ordered it...cost me $4.95 for shipping and its only a 30 day supply. I went to this site and read nothing but negative reviews on it but positive reviews on another product...Sen...something else cant remember...But can anyone tell me if there's something out there for menopause thats over the counter and that will help with my libido? And has anyone ever tried this stuff before? I really need some advice please...

Hi Doe....
I think you should jump to the Menopause board as most of the woman there are in "peri" menopause too. They have lots of info on what works and what doesn't as well as lists of symptoms experienced during this time before actual menopause.
