| Re: body odor
I've had a similar experience. I'm in perimenopause (age 47) and in recent years have switched from antipersperant to regular deoderant (especially in winter months) because I read antip. aren't supposed to be good for you. A couple of years ago, this posed no problem as I also shower every day and even if I sweated a little, didn't seem to be too stinky. However, I've noticed this winter when I've tried wearing deoderant, I stink at the end of the day. I even noticed the other day one of my sweaters smelled - ick!
So, I'm thinking it's related to my wacked out hormones (among many other awful symptoms I have) and have gone back to antip. While the bcp may regulate your hormones a certain way, going off will put you out of whack for a while and this could be affecting you. I, personally, am way against bcp. I took them for most of my adult life and am convinced I'm having a worse time with menopause because of that.
My recommendation is stay off the pill and wear anitp.
