Can horomone imbalance do this? - Hormone Problems Message Board

Ever since I first got my period ( when i was 12 i am now 25) I have had irregular periods, Once I even went a year without getting my period. I have some facial hair --I got pregnant at 24 which I couldnt believe and that was my first trip to the gyno. I told him I did have irregular periods ect. He said we can deal with that after I had the baby..well A few years ago i was diagnosed with panic/anxiety..and now my heart speeds up whenever I stand up, and i get really lightheaded...no one seems to know what is wrong.
Can horomones do somethign like this?

Get your male & female hormones checked. Estrogen E1, E2, E3, Total testosterone, & free testosterone. Then you will know. The total testosterone should be in the lower 1/2 of normal range & the estrogen should be in the upper 1/2 of normal range.

are you on the pill? i just got off yasmin because i was experiencing the fast heart rates and the lightheadedness. i feel 10x better. a coworker of mine also had the rapid heart rates from birth control pills. i dont know for sure if its connected, but it seems like too much of coincidence to not be.

I am 24 and I have been experiencing some of the same symptoms; High BP, fast heart rate, light headedness, fatigue, irregular periods (always have had), some times feel like I am having an anxiety attack-hands get tingly and I feel like I could pass out. I think that it is some kind of hormonal problem. I had a son 14 months ago. I had a lot of fertility problems. My gyno thought that I might have PCOS. He tested my testosterone and it is fine. I had a pelvic ultrasound and I do have follicles on my ovaries, but he wasn't concerned. I have also had an outbreak of acne on my chest and back which I have never had before. So he put me on BC pills Friday (Yasmin). I was a little scared to take them after reading the risks and side effects, but I decided that If I read all of the side effects to all meds that I would never take anything. I have also been have terrible migrains. I had one yesterday with some blurred vision. Today I feel lightheaded and dizzy with a little nausea. I don't know if it is the pill or just my usually not feeling well. Please post any new info. Good luck!
