Lightbulb hot flashes at 22?
could i be having hot flashes? my face turns beat read and i feel like i'm burning up inside, no fever and afterwards i get kinda cold. My doctor said i'm much too young and would check my levels. I had cysts removed last year and in jan. started having my periods every 15 days and more heavily than usual. i also feel tired all the time ! hope someone can help me!

Get your male & female hormones checked. Then keep a copy for your personal medical records. Have the doctor explain each test. Remember the normal range is from a group of women 21 to 90 years old. Ask the doctor where your age would be as perfect. You may test in the "Normal" but be as a 80 year old woman.

I have those hot flashes sometimes as well. No idea what is causing them, but I have an appointment for something else and plan on asking about having my hormone levels checked as well ...

I hope you find the cause - there'd be no harm in asking to have your levels checked.
