How a normal body works is that the LH and FSH is secreted by the pituitary and signals the adrenals and ovaries (or testes) to release their hormones as needed. When the inappropriate amounts of estradiol are sensed in the blood, then the LH and FSH should increase their signal to try to raise the estradiol. All this is called a feedback loop. That is why they should be tested together but doctors sometimes forget that they all work together and that one result impacts the other.
You should get more testing.
