| Re: Can too much stress cause Cushings?
There is a condition called "pseudo Cushing's" and while the name is horrid and docs (!) tend to misuse this, what it really is is a real condition that is brought on by depression, drug use, or alcoholism. Since pseudo means false, often doctors tend to make it out as a condition that is not real, but it is real.
However, too much stress? In all my reading about Cushing's... I have not found that. You have to have a source. But I have met people that only gained weight in their face.
Please find a doctor who knows what they are doing, get tested and get to the real source. 24 hour urine, serum blood, salivas - plus what you need to support it. Research it a bit more and learn. I hope this helps.
