Low testosterone weak legs and pain in knees

hi i have been told i have very low levels of testosterone due to steroid use i've had bloods done
at an endocrine clinic. heres what the letter says the tests do show that the testosterone levels are very low with undetectable LH and FSH hormones coming from the brain, thyroid levels normals and the hormone cortisol from the adrenal gland is also normal. You have a raised prolactin which is a hormone which comes from the brain. i have had a mri scan for them to see if i have a tumor, i will be getting these results soon. I have a lot of symptoms
such as no energy, night sweats not wanting to do anything at all deppression
the worst is not being able to concentrate on things plus i feel weak in my legs
and figiety plus my knees are hurting me can anyone tell me whats going on with my legs thank you any help would be great

Welcome to the club. I've the same symptoms just started on Testosterone patch pending FSH, LH Levels test etc Thyroid came back okay. Dr. is checking it again though.

What age are you guys and what was the Result of your Testosterone.

Mine is Serum Testosterone 5.8 (about 160 in US terms).

Roughly 50 I've all the same symptoms as you. At only 34 with a result of 5.8 I'm so surprised however relieved that they've found a root cause which is treatable.

Hi from home which is testing still, at least the bed is handy. Every minute of effort for me can be a real struggle unless I'm doped with strong painkillers or diazepam.

If I was a plumber in this situation I'd be taking some time off to recover, although everyones outlook is different and some feel better ploughing on. I'd want to clear my head and give my body some time on the treatment.

Waiting now on my 5mg Transdermal Andropatch to kick in to feel better and hopefully get my libido back and the ability to ejaculate & orgasm which I've all but forgot about.

What treatments are you all on??

i must add that whilst all the symptons of my low testosterone are not nice ie no energy or no motavation no sex drive, feeling cold . I can cope with these, it is the legs there is no rest from it
apart from when im asleep. it really got me down i started having anxiety attacks and was worrying all day about them, it got so bad my gp put me on beta blockers and anti-deppressents these have help greatly. plus being able to look on the internet is fantastic i hope you all find the right treatment asap and it works for you, i never want to go though this again.

Pain meds I take are Co-Codomol 30/500 2-4 Daily and Amitriptyline 25mg at night, now knocked down to 10mg as GP reckons they're bad for Testosterone

Can I ask to what extent the Low Testosterone has affected Arousal/Erection/Libido/Ejaculation in you guys as I blamed SSRIs and now wonder if the problems have been a result of T going way down

Re: Low testosterone weak legs and pain in knees

as far as my erections are concerned i do not get them often, i do not get them in a morning at al in fact ive been to see a specialst who gave me caviject. This is because
viagra did not work i have to inject the stuff into my penis and it makes it hard for up to 4 hours. i never get horny so i find it very hard to get in the mood. also when i do manage to come its waterery and not much comes out. the thing is the longer i go without feeling horny the less i want sex, i can not remember the last time i was horny
Also if you are on anti-deppressants like prozac these can stop you from feeling horny and also from Ejaculating but the main reason for me is low testostrone and im sure it the same for you
