Yes, my mother-in-law is on Hospice. I talk to the nurse twice a week. She notified us that she wasn't eating well on April 3. I asked her on April 11, how long could this go on without food...she said she could take a turn & be gone by (Good) Friday or linger longer. We just don't make any family plans because we are afraid to. The CNAs at the home assure us she doesn't exhibit pain, so that is our very important, primary goal. Remarkably, her skin seems to be getting better with some new physical accommodations. We appreaciate the prayers, Kathy
Bless your heart! So sorry your MIL is in such a precarious state. It is amazing that she's hung on for so long. I wish you each peace in the days ahead.
