Can you deliver vaginally if you have present signs of hpv?

hi i was told by my doctor that the risk is very very low of passing hpv on to any child born vaginally cos there isnt a great amount of contact that the babys genital area has with the mothers. i do think though that the delivery doctor needs to be made aware of the hpv before the delivary then they ca asses the situation.

Yes my doctor is aware. I am suppose to go into labor any day now though and have present signs of it. Am a little worried about passing it to my son.

The transmission rate of HPV from mother to child is under 5% I dont think you have much to worry about Good Luck and Congradulations..
